Research interests: My research is focused on identifying the role nutrition plays in human health with regard to various intake levels as well as different macronutrient effects. In particular, my research focuses on how dietary glucose impacts vascular health via post-translational modification of regulatory proteins through the Hexosamine Biosynthesis Pathway.
