April 2023
Callie’s newest paper on sex differences in endothelial cell response to AngII has been published in Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering. This paper was a collaboration with Dr. Douglas Dluzen, Mikayla Harris, and Dr. Nicole Arnold from Morgan State University!
Callie’s co-first author paper, a collaboration with Dr. Yang Tao’s lab, has been published in ACS Omega and demonstrates the use of hyperspectral imaging for metabolite quantification in cell culture media.

Congratulations to Dr. Gurneet Sangha and Dr. Ryan Sapp for winning the AHA Post-doctoral Fellowship! Gurneet will be studying exercise effects on red blood cell extracellular vesicles and endothelial function in laminar flow, and Ryan will be researching sex differences in obesity-induced perivascular adipose tissue dysfunction.
